Violence, disability, and the spread of HIV/AIDS are major impediments to many children enrolling in school, attending frequently, and excelling academically. Orphans may miss the chance to attend school as a result of economic difficulty and inadequate parental care and protection. They are usually rejected by society, denied care and compassion, and left with minimal options to fall back on. Many of these youngsters drop out of school for financial and other reasons.

Efforts to enhance orphan access to school are based on the significance of Education for All. Education is a fundamental human right for all children, and Education for All is a compelling objective for all governments. By teaching knowledge and life skills, education may make a huge difference in the lives of orphans. Furthermore, schooling can help a child's social integration and emotional development by providing a secure, organized setting.
A youngster who learns how to read, write, do basic math, and acquire life skills has a good foundation for lifelong learning. Schools are reaching out to more people in their communities. Schools expand further into communities than most other public organizations and can act as major resource centres to satisfy the community's larger needs.

Education enhances children's lives as well as countries' economic and social well-being. It can lead to increased labour productivity, lower fertility, and better health; it also allows individuals to fully participate in the economy and the development of their society. Girls' education, in particular, has been linked to the advantages of later childbearing, greater birth spacing, smaller family size, lower poverty, and healthier, better-educated children.
A range of factors influences children's access to schooling.
Age, gender, family structure, household wealth, economic and domestic roles, health status, the perceived value of education and external factors such as school distance from home and the quality of child-centred are among these.
